Sarah Showalter is the Director, Business and Consumer Insights for the National Pork Board based in Des Moines, Iowa. She has responsibility for identifying market trends, leading consumer research and representing the voice of the consumer to deliver high impact, actionable insights that can be scaled across the industry to drive business goals and organizational priorities.
Before joining the National Pork Board in 2021, Sarah brings more than 15 years of cross-channel industry in finance, market research and consumer goods manufacturing working for companies like Circana, Conagra, and Hallmark Cards.
Sarah grew up on a family farm in Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Sarah lives in St. Charles, IL with her husband, Quinn, and their three children.
