The website www.meatconference.com (the “Site”) and the services provided through it (the “Service”) are jointly owned and managed by The Meat Institute (MI) and The Food Industry Association (FMI). By visiting our Site and/or registering for the Annual Meat Conference, you are engaging in our Service and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”, “Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the Site, including without limitation browsers, exhibitors, attendees, and contributors of content.
Throughout this document, The Meat Institute and The Food Industry Association may be referred to collectively as “MI & FMI,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
The Site and Service include a broad array of content and functionality, including event schedules, speaker information, and industry resources. All user interfaces, software, and other information and content provided and made available by or for MI & FMI in connection with the Site (“Site Content”) is for use only for individual, non-commercial purposes related to the Annual Meat Conference.
MI & FMI retain all right, title, and interest in and to Site Content. This includes, but is not limited to, all copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and proprietary information in all content that appears on the Site (other than the content of our third-party business partners or exhibitors who have permission to appear on the Site). Nothing on the Site shall be construed as granting any license or right to use any image, trademark, service mark, or logo without express written permission. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Site or the Service without express written permission from MI & FMI.
MI & FMI grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access and make personal use of the Site. Explicit attribution to MI & FMI must be made in the event that any conference materials are reproduced in any form, written or electronic. Any further reproduction, re-publication, or distribution of this material requires the express consent of MI & FMI.
If you create an account on this Site (e.g., for registration or exhibitor portals), you are the sole creator of that account. MI & FMI may not independently verify the information provided. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all uses of your account, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify MI & FMI of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use or access this Site. You may only access and use the Site and the Service in compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and foreign laws, rules, and regulations.
Personal information collected on the Site and through the Service is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy found on this Site. By using this Site, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.
Prices for conference registration, exhibition space, or sponsorships are subject to change without notice. MI & FMI reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
MI & FMI do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The Site and all products and services delivered to you through the Site are (except as expressly stated by us) provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for your use, without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind.
In no case shall MI & FMI, our directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of the Site or any Service.
