Mandy Carr Johnson, Ph.D., is the Sr. Executive Director of Scientific Affairs at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. In her role, she leads a talented team responsible for beef’s technical research into areas of beef safety, product quality, human nutrition, and sustainability, as well as the market research and nutrition and health influencer programs. Mandy is also the administrator for the Beef Industry Food Safety Council, an industry membership group focused on improving beef safety. Mandy joined the NCBA team in 2007.
